Cleaning Up Campbell River's Coastline

Cleaning Up Campbell River's Coastline

The Discovery Passage Aquarium has officially started working towards our goal of cleaning 1km of Campbell River shoreline every month - covering all 12km of beach within a year. We are hosting these clean ups as part of the Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup - an Ocean Wise initiative. By doing so, you can see how much garbage we collected from each clean up with the links at the bottom of the page.

You can also help us save paper by pre-registering online. Follow the links below to sign up, and for more information about each clean up! We will provide gloves and garbage bags/buckets, and trash grabbers are available on a first come first serve basis.

Next Beach Clean Ups:
Tuesday September 19th at 1 PM - Tyee Spit
Monday, October 2nd at 12:30 PM - Explorer Lab Beach
