Releasing Raisin!

Check out this video of Raisin the Giant Pacific Octopus being released back into Discovery Passage at the end of the aquarium season! 

We do everything we can to make the transition from aquarium life to ocean life as smooth as possible for all of our animals, and sometimes this includes chartering a boat, finding volunteer divers, scouting out the best location for the specific animal, and having a send off party for them out at sea!
