Community Clean-up Success!

We hosted our first clean up of the new year on a misty morning last Sunday, January 23. 

Over 30 volunteers attended, helping to remove 10 full bags of garbage from one and a half km's of beach south of Willow Point. 

Hosting these events can be hard. They highlight the extent to which shoreline ecosystems have been impacted and the amount of work required to restore them. However, seeing our community come together to tackle this issue also fills us with hope. Let's keep doing our part and working together to help our ocean ecosystems, one clean-up at a time.
