The ART+EARTH Initiative Virtual Gallery

The ART+EARTH Initiative Virtual Gallery
The Campbell River Arts Council was established in 1970 to promote visual and performing arts in the Campbell River area. In 1998 the Arts Council broadened its mandate, defining its new role with a mission statement: to foster awareness and interest in all arts within the community, and to empower, support, and validate the creative efforts of local artists.
This virtual gallery was created to share and celebrate the many events that the Campbell River Art & Earth Initiative have hosted in collaboration with local non-profits, small businesses, and artists. This initiative is a community celebration of experiences where art intersects and connects with nature. Now a year round event, explore the community and enjoy multiple, interactive virtual and in-person events. The main festival wrap up is on World Rivers Day with the Annual Haig-Brown Lecture.

Over time, this gallery will be updated to feature photographs taken during Art & Earth Initiative events, as well as the work of local artists. Keep an eye on our social media channels for updates to the gallery!
