This program offers an exciting introduction to marine food webs and animal adaptations. Through hands-on exploration of live and preserved specimens, students will investigate how a variety of marine creatures find and consume food in the intertidal zone. Rotating through engaging activity stations, learners will compare feeding strategies, observe predator-prey relationships, and deepen their understanding of marine biodiversity.
Aligned with BC science curriculum outcomes, Feed Me! encourages curiosity about the natural world while reinforcing key concepts such as energy flow, body systems, and environmental interaction
Want us to come to you? We can bring a modified version of Feed Me! to your classroom. For in-class delivery, we will supply all materials, and engage students in a bonus ocean-related game.
Duration: 60 minutes
Cost: $60.00 (or $70.00 for in-class delivery, plus mileage to and from the program)
