Explorer Lab Summer Camps are back as the Ocean Discovery Academy!
This year, we are excited to offer 8 weeks of day camps for school aged kids to learn about marine science through hands-on activities, interactive experiments, and a whole lot of fun!
Each week of camp will run from 9am - 3pm, Monday to Friday, with the exception of stat holidays. Different weeks of camps are geared towards different age groups: Kindergarten-Grade 2 and Grade 3-Grade 6. This is based on the grade they are in this spring. If you wish to register your child slightly outside of the range, please contact us first.
And for the first time ever, we are partnering with Campbell River Whale Watching and going on a few exclusive 3-hour zodiac whale watching tours! This is offered for 2 of the weeks: July 24th-28th and August 14th-18th. Please note that there is a slight price increase for these weeks, and that the ages for both weeks are Grades 3-6. We hope to offer more whale watching opportunities in future summers!

Once payment is complete, we will send you a registration form within a few days, detailed schedule, pick up/drop off authorization forms, and what to bring for each day of camp! Be sure to submit your email when booking so we may reach you in advance. Registration forms must be returned before camps begin to secure your spot.
Cancellation Policy:
- Cancellations made 30 days or more before the start date of the camp = full refund.
- Cancellations made 10-29 days before the start date of the camp = 75% refund
- Cancellations made 9 days or less before the start date of the camp = 50% refund
Unfortunately, no refunds will be issued after the start of the camp, but if there is still space in a suitable camp later in the summer, a transfer to that week can be done.
