The fascinating flounder, like most fish, are born with eyes on either side of their face. As they evolve one eye slowly moves to eventually site next to the other.
Flounder sit at the bottom of the sea bed and can cleverly camouflage itself whilst waiting to ambush prey.
This flatfish's ability to camouflage also helps it avoid its main predators of bigger fish, eels, and sharks.
